Project Presentation Competition for Engineering Students

IEEE PES Kerala Chapter in association with Energy Management Centre, Kerala is organizing a Project Presentation Competition with the theme “Energy Efficient Dream Home”.

Efforts to limit the global temperature rise to 2 degree Celsius by 2100over that existed at the start time of industrialization, can be successfully achieved by concentrating on improving energy efficiency in buildings (60%), industry (25%) and transportation (15%).While zero carbon discharge in buildings will take more time to achieve, there exists a large potential for saving energy in the production of materials for construction and in the construction process. Myriads of opportunities could emerge if we look for solutions.

Inviting nominations from engineering students for project ideas which would improve energy efficiency while building homes and reduce impact on environment.

Who Can Register

•          Team of 3-4 students of any discipline from a college.
•          Any number of teams from a college can apply.
